Our Ocean Conference Commitments

(2015) Cuba and the United States announced that negotiations are underway on a new sister marine protected area arrangement between sites in Cuba (Guanahacabibes National Park and the Bank of San Antonio) and the United States (Florida Keys and Flower Garden Banks National Marine Sanctuaries), and possibly others, focusing on scientific research, education and outreach, and sound management.
