Our Ocean Conference Commitments

(2015) The European Commissioner for Maritime Affairs, Fisheries and Environment announced that the European Union will adopt a major quantitative reduction headline target for marine litter.  Achievement of this target will be facilitated by the adoption of marine strategies under the European Union Marine Strategy Framework Directive.
